As gelcoat fades in the summer sun, the white pigment modifies and becomes something we in the industry call "sun faded", our paint matches this color.We know there are many topside paints in the market but the one thing they all have in common is the white paint perfectly matches the gelcoat color right out of the factory.  Two years, five years or more in the sun that factory color is no longer a match.
